Since I was 5 I've wanted to be a Teacher and still to this day i love helping people learn new things !but as time goes on I have become more exposed to aviation. I've been up flying and even took a lesson and loved it ! Ive even been on corporate jets and sat on the jump seat for the whole flight ! My eyes were glued! I know I need to make up my own mind but any advice would be great !

I was a chronic brusher when I was younger, and now that I am older, due to all the teeth brushing, I wore the enamel off my teeth, and had to get 2 veneers that were very expensive. Delta is the worst one I have been on. We just got back from vacation and both the leaving flight and the return flight had mechanical problems causing 3 hour delays. They didn't have the courtesy to announce what was going on. We just saw a delay message and a gate change flash up on the monitor. They waited so long to post a gate change that we had to Run from Concourse A to Concourse B in Atlanta. If you have been to Atlanta you know that is a pretty long run. I will NEVER fly Delta again even if I have to pay more and have less direct flights.

First day with full braces and already broke two brackets?

So I have cavities in my two front teeth that may have to be root canalled. The One tooth is worse off than the other and the holes are in the sides probably due to not flossing but they are embarassing so i am getting them filled with white filling to look normal again. External Ear Infection and Flying?

I have swimmers ear and it is only affecting my outer ear from what the doc could see. She put me on pills to help encase of a middle ear infection and drops for the outer one. If I brush with Crest Total 3-5 times a day, floss 1-2 times a day, rinse with salt water 2 times a day, rise with a mouth wash 2 times a day, and rubbing my gums a bit. Will this reverse gingivitis alone. I am committed to get rid of it before my next dental checkup in a few months. I want to rid of this so I can focus on whitening (and protection of course). Why do overseas flights leave in the evening and arrive in the morning?

I've noticed most flights to Europe from North America leave evening's around 6:00 and arrive in the morning at the destination. Why is it like this. This makes Jet Lag far worse because you arrive early in the morning like 3:00 am which can be tiring. It doesn't make sense that flights are like this, they increase jet lag so much more. Like if it left in the morning it wouldn't be as bad and you wouldn't be as tired on your trip.

Help with air travel!!?

So my sister and I are going to go in on a ticket to alaska for late July, we plan on buying the ticket in about 3-4 days. I am 15 and the ticket price as of now is $638. What I'm wondering is if I will have to be accompanied by a chaperon on the plane. My flight would be nonstop from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN to Anchorage, AK. So I have cavities in my two front teeth that may have to be root canalled. The One tooth is worse off than the other and the holes are in the sides probably due to not flossing but they are embarassing so i am getting them filled with white filling to look normal again. Until one day I saw aeroplane crashes on televisions, and I also experienced an unpleasant flight on one heavy rainy night, when the thunder stroked, the airplane suddenly went down a bit, which scared me until now and it turned to my no.1 trauma in my life. I just went to the dentist last week. Everything was okay, so I decided I wanted to keep it that way, so I bought flossers because they are easier to use than floss. Two of my teeth in front on the bottom closely overlap. When I stuck the flosser in there it got stuck. I tried to get it out, but I ended up making my gums bleed, a lot and started freaking. Eventually I got it out, but it was kind of unnerving. I tried floss yesterday and it also got stuck, although it didn't cause as much bleeding. Extremely sore gums but no dental insurance...what can I do in the meantime?

I have a history of periodontal disease. I try to take care of my teeth as much as possible with brushing, rinsing and flossing. But unfortunately my bottom front teeth are quite crooked leaving somewhat large spaces for my gums to become more infected. Right now I do not have dental insurance and my gums are killing me! They are very inflamed and I have some prescription rinse but can only use it every so often otherwise it turns your teeth brown. Is there anything else I can do in the mean time to sooth my gums? Also, a weird thing too...I seem to get some sort of relief (or I'm just making it worse) by sticking my nail inbetween my teeth as if they're too scrunched together. Strange I know but I'm wondering if it's my teeth or it really is just my gums being inflamed.

I went to the dentist today and was told I have to get a filling. I'm extremely diligent about brushing my teeth twice a day with my prescription toothpaste, flossing every night, all that jazz. It's normal for your gums to bleed while cleaning if you are new at cleaning gums. Eventually your gums will get used to it and will no longer bleed. But yea I would get root canals for those cavities.

I am a dental assistant and my office recently hired a receptionist that overlaps appointments. We have a lot of HMOs. Usually the schedule is so tight that we are always running behind. You may never get any positive results from this woman and that's ok, just change your attitude and know that you are doing the best you can. I have trouble flossing too, I've had braces for 3 months and I still haven't figured that part out lol but the eating, make sure you always have a drink next to you because it makes it easier to swallow. and u will have to keep cutting your food into small pieces. I saw my missing conure but he didn't come to me, need advice?

I lost my conure today around 4:45 pm, he got startled and flew behind my house. I live in a big neighborhood (at least 100 houses I'm guessing?). As soon as he flew off I put his cage in the backyard on top of the trampoline and hung one of his biggest toys from my window. I've been walking the neighborhood up and down since he left trying to find him. As it was getting dark, I was nearly to my driveway when I heard him screech. I shouted his name trying to locate him and he screeched again, then took flight and landed on my roof. He stayed there less than a minute and took flight again and I haven't heard or seen him since. Why do I have these plugged ears? ?

About 3 weeks ago, I got a really bad cold that included a stuffy nose, sore throat, and cough. I might've had a fever as well since I had chills. The strange part was that my left ear plugged up and that had never happened to me before. I went to the doctor's and she said that my cold should clear up. She said that it looked like I may have been starting an ear infection though and if symptoms persisted, I should take antibiotics. The next morning I started the antibiotics for 10 days. A few days later my ear unplugged but then my other ear plugged and I was shocked. I don't know if this is normal. My cold took a really long time but it got better. However, I went on my 6 hour flight to jersey and the flight was terrible. My ears kept clogging up and it sounded like a vacuum just sucking shut multiple times. It was painful and I couldn't hear. When I got out of my flight I was fine. But now, I'm starting to feel a slight stuffy nose and sore throat again and my right ear has been plugged up for days now. I don't know what's wrong and it's really annoying. Shouldn't the antibiotics have worked? Will this ever go away? Please help!

That is VERY important! As you get older you start having more and more problems with your teeth and gums. When you are younger, you don't think about it but it is so true. Can flossing cause gaps in teeth?

I just flossed for the first time in weeks, and it seems as if after i flossed in between my two front teeth that it created a tiny gap. Is this normal? I didn't have this gap before i flossed. So did flossing cause this gap, which I never had before?

Can braces cause this?

I just got braces yesterday, and when I flossed, I had no problems. When I flossed today, my gums bled. I only got the brackets and wire on the top, and when I flossed my bottom teeth, they didn't bleed at all. So I don't think the cause of it is gingivitis. Can the force of the braces cause your gums to bleed? I would call my dentist, but they aren't open on the weekends.

Okay so i have big boobs and a small waist and i've always been made fun of for it but recently (since im now in high school), i've started to get attention from boys WHICH I DONT WANT. I mean, i want to dress stylish, wearing all the clothes that are in fashion. But its hard for me to pull them off without adjusting them in a way that is kind of... whats the word.... racy? lol idk. My teeth move slightly?

i can wiggle my teeth ;o its only slightly, but if i hold it and gently wiggle them, they actually do move backwards and forwards. is this normal? as i child, i never used to care for my teeth. i have a VERY good reason but im not saying it on here. anyway, i take care of my teeth now, since the past year, because im now able to. i dont always floss, but i do every two or three days. i brush twice a day and use mouthwash once a day. why are my teeth moving xd? im terrified!

Is my budgie ready to lay her eggs?

My female budgie is spending most of her time in the nesting box, but she has been spending time in it for quite a long time. I believe she was doing it for the sole purpose of alleviating her arthritis pain, which she has in both of her feet. But I have recently seen her mating quite a bit the past few days, and the male has been regurgitating to her. I am checking the nesting box every 5 hours or so, and she is pulling out her flight feathers, but there are no eggs yet. It has only been about a day and a half since I first saw them mating, and they continue to mate as I speak. Her cere is very flaky, but it has been flaky ever since I got her. The last time she came out of the nesting box [about 2 minutes ago] the area under her tail seemed a bit enlarged, and the male and female mated again. Will they continue to mate even after she is ready to lay the eggs, or even after she has laid them?

Am I wrong? (GF related problems)?

So just getting to the point, yesterday me and my gf had an argument because on her Tumblr page I sent her an anonymous message pretending to be someone one random, asking racy questions in which she responded as if she was really interested.( questions like if she wanted to have sex ;), wanted to be my girl..etc) I just did it to see if she would turn down the questions and say no because she has a bf already. I told her why is she lying about the questions and she said she was not and she is reading it right off the screen...again I laugh because I well know wtf I asked her anonymously. She then deleted her Tumblr saying its causing drama between us even though I pleaded with her to not do it. I did this because before yesterday she made a post about her "Tumblr Crush" with a heart next to some guy and saying "see.. :)". That hurt me so much and we made up after we talked and fixed that problem. Then I just did this to truly see and feel better if she would turn the flirting down, but went on right ahead for me to see. Was I wrong to do this? Why would she do it and then tell me she loves me so much etcc... I feel hurt.

How do I get rid of my swollen gums with my braces on?

This is about the 4th straight day that my gums have been swollen, they have swollen all the way down to the brackets of my braces, I've been brushing 2 times daily, using mouthwash 2 times daily, and doing the best I can to floss 2 times daily, but it is only getting worse I've even been gargling my mouth with warm salt water, It can't be the toothpaste because when it started I got new toothpaste and its not helping and I got the mouthwash when it started to swell so its not that either that's causing the swelling. I've tried just about everything and nothing seems to help can someone please help me out?

I thought about going american airlines, but I just need to be able to fit, i'm a tidbit worried about that. Anyone else who's larger have experiences with southwest, or american airlines with seating? Last time I flew was in 2006 we flew to atlanta, but we flew delta, and I barely fit. Should I floss my loose tooth?

I went to the dentist and she said that my tooth was slightly loose. I have no cavities or infections and he said if you teeth turn grey then you have to come back to get a root canal and extraction is the second option. Should I still floss the loose teeth or will it make it more loose then it is. When does a loose tooth take time to heal and btw its the left front teeth so you can see why I am a little depressed lol. Help me??

I saw my missing conure but he didn't come to me, need advice?

I lost my conure today around 4:45 pm, he got startled and flew behind my house. I live in a big neighborhood (at least 100 houses I'm guessing?). As soon as he flew off I put his cage in the backyard on top of the trampoline and hung one of his biggest toys from my window. I've been walking the neighborhood up and down since he left trying to find him. As it was getting dark, I was nearly to my driveway when I heard him screech. I shouted his name trying to locate him and he screeched again, then took flight and landed on my roof. He stayed there less than a minute and took flight again and I haven't heard or seen him since. I'm a little more relieved to know that he is near and he has probably seen his cage outside. My question is, should I stay outside during sunrise and see if he'll come to me and his food? Or should I stay inside and just watch for him? I'm just not sure if he will come to me, he has already seen me and didn't come. Yet he did let me know he was around. Ugh I'm at such a loss, any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

i was flossing my teeth and a part of my tooth fell off of the back of my three teeth in the back. please help because i dont have insurance and i think its a cavity because it turned brown a little. and the chips of tooth that fell were brown in color. ive never had a cavity. so i want to know how much it cost to get it fixed. would i need a root canal? or are my teeth going to just need a filling please help. and how much does it cost to get a filling on my teeth?

How to get rid of gingivitis...?

Hi I have gingivitis and I guess that it is partially my fault because I don't floss my teeth very often. I am not going to go to the dentist (please do not say to go to the dentist because it is not going to happen for financial reasons). I feel like it is in a way not my fault because I was brushing with "Crest" that had mini whitening strips in it and I didn't realize until last week that is did not protect against gingivitis. I want to get rid of my gingivitis as fast as possible without visiting the dentist or getting a prescription. I am now using Crest total care, flossing my teeth, and rinsing my mouth with heavy salt water. Is that going to make it go away? Bleeding while flossing?

I have braces and got teeth extracted about six months ago and the gaps are already closed up but when I try to floss where the extracted teeth were at it starts to bleed. Not sure if this is normal and if it's always going to be like that?

I was wondering if its really necessary to have fluoride while you have braces. I brush 4-5 times a day i floss twice a day and i use listerene mouthwash after i brush my teeth an i use picks to get inside gums and take food out.

Why do I have a weak immune system?

I have severe allergies, seasonal and chronic, I get sick often and recover slowly. Hay fever can leave me bedridden for days and many medications don't work for me. But I don't understand why. I eat healthy, whole organic foods, never eat processed foods, and exercise daily. I don't smoke cigarettes, I maintain proper hygiene....I mean, I shower daily and even floss every night. I go to the dentist and doctor when in supposed to. I live in a rural area, get plenty of fresh air and am not exposed to environmental toxins. I use hypoallergenic bedding and cleaners, all my clothes are made of natural fibers. But this all doesn't stop me from getting frequent viruses and colds that last a long time, or from sneezing and itching during allergy season. I'm starting immunotherapy soon but I'm dubious as to how effective it will be. No amount of medication in the past has seemed to ease symptoms, or work like it does for others. Im sure it's not a karma issue either, lol...I pay my taxes on time and volunteer. I get so angry when my best friend boasts how he can eat whatever he wants, keep a messy house and never visit a doctor, and still be a picture of health. Was I just born this way? What else can I do to boost my immune system? I dont take vitamins, is that it? I'm desperate to live my life without being sick all the time.

My son will be 8 months old on the 11th. This will be our 3rd 6 hour flight with him in my lap since April (Along with a small connecting flight which doesnt bother me).We will be leaving Hawaii to move back to the mainland (Funner place to visit then to live). Okay, so first of all.. please don't judge me for this and tell me writing like I am is wrong. It is how it is.
