Should I floss my loose tooth?

I went to the dentist and she said that my tooth was slightly loose. I have no cavities or infections and he said if you teeth turn grey then you have to come back to get a root canal and extraction is the second option. Should I still floss the loose teeth or will it make it more loose then it is. When does a loose tooth take time to heal and btw its the left front teeth so you can see why I am a little depressed lol. Help me??
