Why do I suck with guys? Should I have sent him that video?

So last week this guy told me to meet him and his friends at the mall I ran an hour late and on my way there he told me not to come he was pissed. So then we patched that up and he left town on work we talked every night he would text me first. then he asked for a racy video I kinda said yes but then later after thinking about it and talking with a friend I took that back and I didnt have time to anyway had finals this week. So thursday night he says he's excited about our date ect and asked for the video I told him in one way or another no and he stoped talking and I'm not going to hold my breath for our date today I know its not going to happen. I suck I know I do. Should I have sent him is video?
